What is Print Marketing?

Well, it's pretty much exactly what it sounds like. If you create it on your computer, save a file, print it out and your client sees the result then it's print marketing. I've found that this is one of the most basic concepts to understand, but yet so may owners feel they can do it themselves and to be quite honest, the result looks like something I did in my high school computer class. In 1997. In an image based business it's SO IMPORTANT that your print materials reflect the same quality of work you provide for your clients. Would you attempt a razor fade if you've never taken a class on how to do one?? I would hope the answer is no. The same holds true for your print marketing. Yes, anyone can own a computer with some fancy graphic design software (just like any stylist can own the fanciest straight razor in town), but just because you own it doesn't mean you should use it. Save your time and headache and let me do the pretty print stuff for you. Or at least let me teach you how to do it yourself before you copy and paste some clipart from 1997 onto your business card.
Some common examples of print marketing include:
  • Business Cards
  • Appointment Cards
  • Referral Cards
  • Invitations to events
  • Posters
  • Retail signage
  • And literally anything you can print on...

I know you're probably thinking by now how good it sounds in words, but what does it look like in real life. Take a scroll through at some of my most recent work. Although I'm generally working on more than one project at a time, I like to just focus on my most recent in this section.

PS - When I do work for you, I do work for you. I will never rip off a previous client's work, nor will I use yours for someone else. Rest assured your content will be as unique as you are.
